A man arrested in connection to a double fatal road crash has had his bail extended for a second time.
The 21-year-old male from Loughton, was arrested at the scene on Goldings Hill, Loughton, on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving at around 2am on Saturday, August 24.
The incident resulted in the deaths of former Roding Valley High School students Max Halcrow, 21, and Sophia Khan, 16.
A 16-year-old girl from Woodford and a 17-year-old girl from Chingford who were also passengers in the silver BMW M3 vehicle were both seriously injured.
Originally bailed until Friday, September 20 after being released from hospital with minor injuries, the man was then granted another extended bail.
He has now been bailed until Friday, December 20.
