An 11-year-old boy had to be rushed to hospital this afternoon after he was caught up in a car collision that took place in Lewisham.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Lewisham were called at approximately 3:20pm on November 18, to reports of a car in collision with a child in Baring Road.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene and were also joined by officers from MPS Lewisham.
The child was taken to a south London hospital – however, at this early stage his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
MPS Lewisham have also confirmed that no arrests have been made and road closures remain in place at the scene.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
