HUNDREDS of families got into the festive spirit on Saturday when intu Uxbridge shopping centre came together with Uxbridge Town Centre for the Christmas lights switch-on.
Father Christmas, his elves and even Debbie McGee arrived from the North Pole, just in time for the switch-on moment!
There was a festive fireworks display and a laser light show, which you can see projected on to Market House every evening until Christmas.
The High Street was bustling with shoppers at the Tinsel Town Christmas market, while intu Uxbridge restaurants and eateries offered discounts all evening.
Inside the shopping centre, visitors were able to view of the decorations themed around the 12 Days of Christmas.
The popular grotto and Christmas workshop will return to the Piazza from Saturday, November 30, and intu Uxbridge’s late opening until 8pm starts from December 9.
