More than 100 bank workers will team up with Pudsey to help raise money for charity tonight.

Metro Bank colleagues will be showing their support for BBC Children in Need.

They will be volunteering at the bank’s Ilford call centre to help collect millions of pounds donated by the public tuning in to see the annual charity appeal night on Friday, November 15.

This will be Metro Bank’s second year of supporting BBC Children in Need, which focuses on changing the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Last year, Metro Bank’s call centre processed more than £60,000 of donations.

Lee Protheroe, head of AMAZE Direct contact centres at Metro Bank said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting BBC Children in Need again this year. Being a community bank is at the heart of what we do and our colleagues are really proud to be playing their part in this long-standing appeal.”
