A Bexleyheath man stopped in his Mini has been charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

Van Tran, 18, was pulled over on London Road in Tunbridge Wells at 11am on Wednesday after police deemed his Mini Countryman to be suspicious.

A search of a suspicious vehicle found 42 wraps of cocaine and cash totalling £103, which were both seized.

Tran, of the Broadway, Bexleyheath, was arrested and later charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply and with possessing criminal property (the £103.)

He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on November 14.
