AN Ealing training provider is holding an open event to give young people struggling to find work the chance to find a course to kick-start a career.

Skills Training UK’s Ealing Centre is opening its doors to prospective learners, to showcase its free vocational BTEC courses and Traineeships on Wednesday, October 23, 3-5pm. The open event is free for 16 to 24-year-olds and their parents/carers.

Tutors will give tours of the centre and current students will give first-hand accounts of life at the centre in Uxbridge Road.

Cynthia Martins, centre manager, said: “As we approach October half-term, some young people may be realising that traditional college or sixth form isn’t right for them.”

The centre provides vocational BTEC, English and maths courses for 16-18s and traineeship programmes for 16-24s. For more information, call 0208 840 8993, email igniteyoursuccess@skillstraininguk.com or visit www.skillstraininguk.com
