A CAMPAIGNER for keeping children safe and active through sport is opening a football academy in Hillingdon.
Dawa Balgun, 23, is launching the centre with the help of children’s football academy Kixx, which is owned by a number of pro footballers, including James Coppinger.
He said: “The Kixx mission is to positively impact every child at every opportunity and it’s a passion I share and absolutely live by.”
This year, he spoke with former PM Theresa May about keeping children off the streets through sport.
“Children are the future and, long before Kixx, I have been actively campaigning for children and young people in London,” he added.
His academy will be hosting a free discovery day this Saturday (12) at Goals Hayes.
You can book a place via the Kixx Uxbridge Facebook page or by emailing admin@kixx.org.uk
