A man has been taken to hospital after he was rescued out of the River Wandle.
Officers were called to Wandle Park in Colliers Wood yesterday (September 25) at around 5.12pm to reports of a man in the water.
He was removed from the water by a member of the public before the Brigade arrived.
He was treated on the scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
Three fire engines from Tooting and Mitcham fire stations attended.
LAS confirmed that they treated a man on the scene and he was taken to hospital.
His condition is currently unknown.
