Friends and family gathered at a village festival to celebrate food producers from the community.

The Autumnfest in Abbots Langley took place last Saturday (September 21) to promote community growers and food producers.

The festival has taken place since 2015 with live music and performances, community groups and societies and activities for all ages.

The event allows people to pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, to sample grown and produced food from the area.

In the lead up to the festival, people in the village are encouraged to make scarecrows to decorate the High Street.

Leader of the council Sara Bedford said: "I am delighted to see this festival continue to attract more groups of people.

"It is good to see them having fun and buying local products. I would like to personally thank the members of the festival for carrying on with this initiative.”
