HILLINGDON is among four London boroughs being targeted for tackling poverty and inequality.
Trust for London, an independent charitable foundation, and Crowdfunder, the UK’s leading crowdfunding platform, are joining forces to Make Change Happen across 21 outer London boroughs.
Following a summer launch of their Connected Communities Match, the second phase aims to shine a light on London’s most pressing social issues.
They want to help community groups raise funding and make a positive impact on lives.
The four boroughs receiving particular attention are Barking, Bexley, Harrow and Hillingdon.

People in the boroughs can submit their ideas directly via the Crowdfunder website, where the offer of match funding up to £10,000 for the most inspiring ideas, is available.
Crowdfunder will run workshops at events in outer London, offering support to those interested in setting up a project and encouraging groups to apply for the £10,000.
They need to set out their idea to Make Change Happen in just 100 words before October 18.
