Swing low: the Squadronaires are know around the world
THE world-famous Royal Air Force Squadronaires are putting on an evening of big band music at Winston Churchill Hall, Ruislip, on Wednesday, October 2.
They will be celebrating the music of influential figures in jazz , such as Coleman Hawkins, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins and John Coltrane.
The Squadronaires will also be joined by tenor saxophonist Mike Hope from the Syd Lawrence Orchestra as guest soloist.
This event is in support of the Royal Air Force Music Charitable Trust, which raises welfare funds through live music by performances.
