A £2,000 reward has been offered to anyone who can help find a Chihuahua which went missing a week ago.
Gizmo ran away last Thursday in Radlett, leaving owner Mark Trowsdale distraught.
Gizmo was wearing a blue and cream jacket.
Mr Trowsdale, who works as a window cleaner in Borehamwood, said: "I feel like I have lost a kid. He was with my brother and he was let off his lead and that's the last we saw off hin. I can't sleep at night thinking about him."
Mr Trowsdale has had Gizmo ever since he was a baby after rescuing him from a traveller site nearly nine years ago.
The window cleaner, who recently had to leave his home in Borehamwood, and is currently staying at a temporary shelter in the borough, even slept on the street just so Gizmo could be by his side, because his new place does not allow dogs.
"I've been everywhere looking for him but he is so small, he could be anywhere. I have to say the response from the community has been so sweet and amazing. A friend has even offered a reward of £2,000."
