The UK finalists for the first ever global Etsy Design Awards, recognising the work of extraordinary creatives from around the world, have been announced. A total of 160 sellers worldwide are through to the judging process and one of the finalists is from Tottenham.

Twin brothers Dee and Roshun Ayus, who own Etsy shop Ayus Designs, have backgrounds in architecture and product design. Their passion for using environmentally sustainable materials led them to design their lampshade which they've entered for the competition - made with special biodegradable composites fused with PLA made from renewable resources such as corn-starch, sugarcane, sugar beet and cassava.
