A 20-year-old from Woolwich was arrested after a man was stabbed in Tunbridge Wells.

Police were called at around 7.45pm on August 21 to a fight on Calverley Road, where they found a man in his 50s suffering stab wounds.

The victim was rushed to hospital, where his wounds were treated and he was later discharged.

On September 4 a man from Woolwich was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

The suspect has been bailed, pending further enquiries, to return to a police station on October 1.
