ORGANISERS of the award-winning Ealing Half Marathon have issued a last call to enter the event on Sunday, September 29.

Entries for the public close at 9am next Monday (16) or sooner if places sell out.

Charity places will be available from 9.01 next Monday to 9am on Sunday, September 22, for Cancer Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society, Macmillan Cancer Support and Meadow House Hospice. Full details on running for charity can be found here.

There are just under three weeks to go until the eighth edition of the race and excitement is high as 7,000 runners from more than 25 countries prepare to take on West London’s only fully-closed road half marathon.

The race starts and finishes in Lammas Park and the 13.1-mile route takes in parts of Central Ealing, Montpelier, Pitshanger, West Ealing, Hanwell and St Stephens.

Entry fees are £48, if affiliated to a club, or £50 unaffiliated.
