A man was stabbed during a violent assault in Gravesend on Thursday (August 29).

Kent Police issued an information appeal yesterday (August 30) after revealing details of the apparent knife crime incident.

A spokesperson said that police are seeking witnesses after what was described as a "serious assault", in which two men assaulted a third man who was then taken to hospital on Thursday evening.

"Witnesses are sought following a serious assault in Gravesend.

"It is reported that at around 10.15pm on Thursday August 29 two men assaulted a man in his 20s in All Saints Road.

"The victim sustained an injury consistent with a stab wound and was taken to a London hospital for treatment, where he currently remains.

"At present no arrests have been made and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing," Kent Police said.
