A PARTIALLY-sighted border collie at Dogs Trust West London in Harefield is in need of a forever home to mark National Blind Dog Day.
Eight-year-old Marcus is a clever chap who is blind in his left eye and has only a small amount of vision in his right, due to a medical condition.
But he doesn’t let it hold him back – in his six months at Dogs Trust, he has learned how to use a ramp to get in and out of a car safely.
Marcus is also developing his ability to be confident while walking near traffic.
Rehoming centre manager Richard Moore said: “He needs a quiet home to retire to and would need to be the only pet in a home with a garden and children aged over 16.”
If you think Marcus could be your canine companion, call the rehoming centre on 01895 453930 or find out more at www.dogstrust.org.uk
