STUDENTS from the University of West London are graduating this week at a series of ceremonies at Twickenham Stadium.

Chancellor Laurence Geller described them as “the embodiment of what is great in our society”.

He called on them to be bold and courageous innovators and said the only limit they faced was their own ambitions.

Joining the graduates at three ceremonies were individuals whose outstanding careers have been marked with honorary awards by the university.

Opera performer John Treleaven, music producer Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, leading defence lawyer Michael Mansfield QC and advertising legend Robin Wight all collected honorary doctorates.
