Detectives are investigating a robbery where a garage worker was threatened with a knife.

A staff member at Esso garage in St Albans Road, Watford, was forced to hand over money from the till on July 14 at 6.20am.

The offender headed towards the counter, produced a knife and demanded the money from the till.

Detective Constable Julie Vint, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “Thankfully the victim was not physically injured after his ordeal, but he was understandably shaken by what happened.

“We have a made a number of enquiries and we are now keen to identify the man pictured as we believe he may have information that could prove vital to our investigation.

“He is wearing quite distinctive clothing and headwear, so if you recognise him, please get in touch.”
