Reports of a group of travellers were spotted breaking into an abandoned British Legion property last night.
Concerns are shared after sightings last night (August 5) of a group of travellers settling at a spot outside a permanently closed British Legion property on Parnell Close, Edgware.
The travellers reportedly had broken the fencing which enclosed the building’s outdoor private car park and proceeded to park their caravans.
Barnet Times reporter, James Cowen, confirms that the caravans were still parked at the car park this morning at roughly 8 am.
Police were called to the scene last night but received another call upon arrival to cancel the search. No offences were found during the brief inspection.
