A councillor has resigned from a parish council after serving the area for three years.
Three Rivers district councillor Alex Michaels has left his position in Abbots Langley Parish Council.
The Liberal Democrat councillor joined the parish council and served the Primrose Hill ward.
An election will be held to fill the position if ten parish electors make a request to the Returning Officer by August 9.
Otherwise, the vacancy will be filled by co-option. If there is an election it will take place no later than October 15.
