Police are on the hunt for two men following a knife-point robbery in St Paul's Cray.

Officers were called to the Co-op in Cotmandene Crescent at 12.51pm on Sunday (July 21) where a man was reportedly in possession of what was described by witnesses as a bread knife, or machete.

"He demanded that staff hand over money from the till," a Met spokesman said.

"He then made off on foot in the direction of Leesons Hill, with a three figure sum of cash.

"It is believed the suspect, who was described as a black male, may have been in the company of another man."

Nobody was injured during the incident and no arrests have been made at this stage.
