It was the inauguration ceremony of a new spiritual centre - and seven months on, the building is finally ready to be opened to the public.

Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SMRD) London Spiritual Centre in Falconer Road has already hosted one open weekend earlier this month and another one will take place on July 27 and July 28.

Visitors are welcome to come and learn about the activities planned for the centre, and take part in some taster sessions, including short yoga and meditation workshops.

People of all ages are welcomed at the centre to learn a little about the Jain tradition and its rituals, experience forms of worship at the on-site temple, get involved with the organisation’s charitable and interfaith initiatives, and learn about spiritual classes for children and self-development workshops for adults.
