A fault with a signal system is causing peak hour delays for Southeastern commuters this morning.
National Rail have said that the disruption, which began just after 6am, is affecting journeys between Hither Green and Chislehurst.
"Network Rail engineers are on site and will take a short line blockage to try and rectify the issue," a post on the rail company's website read.
"Train services through the area will be disrupted, this will include diversions and possible short notice cancellations."
It added that these services in particular would be affected:
- Stopping services from Sevenoaks / Orpington to London Charing Cross/ London Cannon Street are able to run but will be delayed.
- Services from Hastings - London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street are able to run but will be delayed.
- Services from Ramsgate - London Charing Cross will be diverted to London Victoria.
The disruption is expected to last until at least 8am.
