An Orpington man was arrested after crashing a car during a police pursuit through Crockenhill last night.
A spokesman for Kent Police has said: "Kent Police was called at 8.30pm on June 23 to a reported theft from a Co-Op store in Swanley High Street.

"The driver, a man aged 29 from Orpington, was arrested and remains in custody."
A tweeted posted from the Kent Police Sevenoaks unit noted that an arresting officer was also assaulted during the fracas.
