Police investigating two daytime attacks on lone women in a South Norwood park are appealing for help.

Both women are believed to have been walking dogs in South Norwood Country Park at around 3pm yesterday, when they were grabbed from behind by a lone black make, who took their mobile phones.

One of the women was sexually assaulted. Neither suffered any further injuries.

No arrests have been made. People using the park are advised to be vigilant, and additional police patrols will take place in the area.

Detectives from South Area Command CID would like to hear from anyone who was in the park around the time of the offence or who has any information that may help.
