The brutal week of violence in London has continued this afternoon after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed on Lewisham High Street.

Police remain at the scene and three people have been arrested after officers were called at 3.45pm.

The injured boy is not believed to be in a life-threatening condition, but police are waiting for a full assessment.

A police spokesman said: "Three males were arrested at the scene in relation to the incident and a large knife has been recovered. "
