Lines between Blackfriars and Bromley South have reopened after a person was hit by a train earlier this morning.
The British Transport Police have since confirmed that a person was pronounced dead after being hit by a train at Ravensbourne station in Bromley.
A BTP spokesman said: "Officers were called to Ravensbourne station at 6.26am this morning (17/06) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended but sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are currently working to identify them and inform their family.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."

National Rail have also confirmed that trains are now able to run normally between Orpington / Swanley and London Blackfriars following the incident.
