Bushey House Beaumont care home in Bushey, which si run by Barchester Healthcare, held a day of celebrations and gifts to thank workers as part of National Carers Week.
The annual campaign aims to raise awareness of caring and recognise the vital jobs that carers play in providing high-quality care to residents.
Azaad Saumtaly, the general manager of Bushey House, said: “Our carers work hard to provide high quality, personalised care to the people living in our homes, often go above and beyond the call of duty and have a huge impact on people’s lives. They also offer friendship and comfort to residents and their relatives during what can be a very emotional time. We appreciate the work they do all year round."
Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK’s largest care providers, running over 200 care homes and seven registered hospitals across the country. In Bushey House, residential and nursing care is provided to 59 residents.
