A Sainsbury's in Barnehurst were forced to shut up shop early last night after an irate man reportedly assaulted numerous people, including a staff member.
Police were called to the store in Erith Road shortly after 9pm on June 12 following reports of an assault and upon arrival, officers found two people suffering with minor injuries.

It was then reported that a man had entered the shop and launched an assault on a member of staff, before attacking a shopper who tried to intervene.
A Met spokeswoman has said: "Officers searched the area and a 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault. He was further arrested on suspicion of Section 4 public order.
"He was taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.
"Enquiries continue."
A spokesman for Sainsbury's has said: "We can confirm our Barnehurst Erith Road Local store closed slightly early last night following a minor incident.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and are supporting the police with their enquiries."
