Detectives are investigating a stabbing of a 26-year-old man outside a pub this weekend and are also appealing for witnesses.
Emergency services received reports the victim was stabbed outside The Merry Fiddlers pub, in Fiddlers Hamlet, Epping, in the early hours of Sunday, June 6.
The man remains in hospital in a stable, but potentially life-threatening condition.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was at The Merry Fiddlers pub and witnessed the incident.
We ask anyone with information to call Loughton CID on 101, quoting incident 60 of June 9.
