A toddler was rushed to hospital over the weekend after falling from a third floor window in Erith.

According to a Met spokeswoman, officers responded to reports of the incident which occurred shortly after 8pm on Saturday, June 1, in Maple Court.

Officers attended alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and found a three-year-old boy suffering from injuries.

The spokeswoman said: "He was taken to a nearby hospital where his injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.

"No arrests have been made; enquiries continue."
