Police have issued an appeal following a "dangerous dogs incident.

Officers from the Reigate and Banstead Beat (Surrey Police) Facebook page posted pictures of two people who they are trying to identify following an allegation of "having dogs dangerous out of control."

"Where you in the area of Netherne Woods back on May 11," the post read.

"Did you see two American Pitbull dogs (one brown, one white)? Do you know the persons in the images?"

The case officer, PC Newby added: "I am hoping that someone can identify these people as I would like to speak to them in relation to a dangerous dogs incident which took place in the afternoon on May 11 this year between Nertherne Wood and Beckett Road in Coulsdon.

"I believe that they may have information relevant to my enquiry so am keen to trace them.
