A man has been left laying in the street after being stabbed in Croydon this morning.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 2.49am to Selsdon Park Road following reports of a man found suffering from stab wounds.

Officers attended and a 24-year-old man was taken by LAS to a south London hospital. Police are currently awaiting an assessment of his condition.

Officers are working to establish how the victim sustained his injuries and a crime scene and road closures are in place.

At this stage there have been no arrests.
