Detectives investigating a fatal ‘hit and run’ collision have released details of two cars wanted in connection with the incident.

Police have also named the victim as Yussuf Adebiyi, a 49-year-old man from Neasden.

Mr Adebiyi was struck on the North Circular shortly after 3am on Monday May 20. An air ambulance attended alongside paramedics but he died at the scene.

It happened in Neasden and the A406 was shut for most of the morning for investigation work.

Police are appealing to trace two black 5 series BMW's with the following registrations: EX66 TZE and EX66 TZV.

It is believed that one of these vehicles will have significant damage to the front of the car including the bonnet and windscreen.

Any sightings of these vehicles should be reported immediately to police on 101 quoting CAD 699/20MAY19.

Mr Adebiyi's sister has paid tribute to her only brother.

She said: “I have lost my only brother. He was a gentle giant who loved his music and I am going to miss him so much. I want the person(s) who did this to do the right thing and hand themselves into the police.”
