Police have arrested a 21-year-old man after a stabbing in Mitcham town centre.
Officers were called to Lammas Avenue, at 12.00pm on May 21 to reports of two males fighting.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 20-year-old man had suffered stab wounds to his arm and leg.
He was taken to a west London hospital by LAS where his condition was initially treated as critical but has since been deemed not life threatening.
On May 22, officers arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.
He was taken to a north London police station where he remains at this time.
A section 60 order was authorised following the incident.
