Every year Merton's "rich and varied" heritage is explored with a showcase for young and old.
But this year will be even more special as it coincides with the 25th anniversary of Merton Heritage Service
"Whether you are a history enthusiast, want to know more about your local area, are looking for volunteering opportunities, places to visit or simply enjoy nostalgia – there will be activities for people of all ages," a Merton Council spokeswoman said.
"The 2019 programme features exhibitions, archive film, storytelling, children’s crafts, themed workshops, plus stalls from Merton’s many museums, artists and community groups.
"There will also be an amazing series of bitesize talks covering everything from community heritage and life during World War II, to Mitcham Cricket Green, Jamdani saris, bygone
Wimbledon and the life of the Daffodil King."
The event will be taking place in Morden Library on May 11, from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
