A couple famed for signature Thai dishes have welcomed guests into their new restaurant in Chislehurst.
Giggling Squid opened earlier this month to replace the old Italian restaurant, Gusto, on the high street.
Thai-born Pranee Laurillard set up Giggling Squid with her husband Andrew in 2009, and the pair now operate 32 restaurants around the country.
Giggling Squid was inspired by a nickname of one of the couple’s three children.
After the opening night, Pranee told News Shopper: "Chislehurst is such a beautiful town and we’re delighted to be a part of its vibrant community.
"We are looking forward to welcoming friends and families alike to enjoy a relaxed dining experience with bold Thai flavours and inviting décor."
The restaurant will be able to host over 100 diners and an outdoor space will be available in warmer months.
