A priceless war medal along with watches, jewellery and a four-figure sum of cash has been stolen from an elderly resident.
The burglary took place on Stadbroke Grove, Buckhurst Hill, between 8.30am and 5pm on Sunday, April 7.
The suspects smashed a window and took the items including the distinctive medal from the Independent Order of Foresters which contained rubies.
The only image of the medal has been released by Essex Police, to help trace the victim, who is aged in his 80s, stolen item.
