Police in Dartford are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered a suspected knife wound to the knee during an attempted robbery earlier this week.
The victim, who is in his late teens, reported being approached by a man in Summerhill Road, at the junction with Highfield Road, at around 9.30pm on Monday, April 15.
The offender was walking away from the town centre and told the teenager to hand over a ring.

However, a struggle took place and during the incident the victim sustained a deep cut to his knee.
He has received treatment at a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
The suspect is described as being black, in his 20s and around 6ft 1ins tall of a large build. He spoke with a local accent and at the time he was wearing a grey tracksuit with a dark-coloured parka coat.

Detective Sergeant Mike Champion, from Kent Police’s Crime Investigation Department in North Kent, said: "Incidents of this nature are rare and those who carry them out can expect a robust, zero-tolerance approach from Kent Police.
"We have already conducted multiple enquiries, including checking for forensic evidence and speaking with local residents.
"I would ask anyone living in this area who has privately held CCTV, and is yet to speak with our officers, to contact us on 01474 366149 quoting 46/72550/19.
"Likewise, we would like to hear from anyone who saw a man in this area matching the description provided.
"Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent on 0800 555 111."
