A man trapped in a car collision involving one car resulted in four fire crew being called out to rescue him this morning.
Fire crews from Epping, Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Cheshunt responded to the incident on the M25, westbound between junctions 26 and 25.
The accident reportedly happened at around 5.40 am where one lane was closed until the man was freed by around 6.20am.
The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
Up to seven miles of queues and delays are currently being reported on the M25 following the crash.
Roads have now re-opened but has resulted in heavy congestion just before junction 27 for the M11 and along the A10 through Cheshunt.
