IF you’re giving up smoking, you have more chance if you live to the west of London, new research shows.
The most smoke-free London borough is Harrow, with 9% of the population smoking. Richmond is second and Ealing third (11%).
Worst offenders are Hackney (21.4%), followed by Islington and Tower Hamlets.
Hammersmith and Fulham is the best performing borough in London for quitters, with 7.7% of smokers achieving it through NHS services.
The figures were sourced from Public Health England and collated by Vape Club for Vaping Awareness Month − VApril.
