Police have urged any relatives of a Bromley man being treated in a Nepalese hospital to contact the Foreign Office.
A social media appeal was launched for missing Phillip Malcom Bradley, 64, after a photo of him clinging to a bed in Kathmandu emerged.
His passport details were also shared online, which states that he was born in Bromley.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office told News Shopper: "Our consular staff are providing ongoing assistance to a British man who has been hospitalised in Kathmandu. They have visited the hospital, and are in regular contact with the Nepalese medical professionals who are caring for him."
The original social media post appeal read: "A British Citizen named Phillip Malcolm Bradley from Bromley, has been found in Nepal in very critical condition.
"He is currently admitted to Bir Hospital in Kathmandu due to several infections and he has no relatives to look after him.
"He repeatedly requesting to send him back to his homeland. Please help Phillip to find his relatives and support him to return to his country."

Bromley police shared their own picture of Phillip, who is looking gaunt and is struggling to keep his eyes open.
A statement read: "Any genuine close family or friends that need to contact him should call the Foreign Office on 020 7008 1500 who are aware and dealing."
