The chief suspect in a four-year-long murder investigation has been arrested in Romania.
Shane O’Brien from Ladbroke Grove was arrested by Romanian authorities yesterday in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Kingsbury man, Josh Hanson.
Mr Hanson was at the RE bar in Eastcote on October 11, 2015, when he was stabbed in the neck in an unprovoked attack. He died at the scene.
The arrest warrant for O’Brien, 31, was escalated from Europol to Interpol’s Most Wanted list in May last year.
He will now face extradition back to the United Kingdom.
Mr Hanson’s family have been notified of the arrest.
