A RESTAURANT is offering discounts for the hard working people of the city and beyond.

The Set, in Regency Square, Brighton, has started a new initiative which will see discounts on meals offered to NHS workers, teachers and workers in the food service industry.

Every Wednesday workers in these industries can dine in The Set and receive 25 per cent off their food bill.

All you need to do is bring your ID or payslip as proof of where you work.

The deal also applies to a friend or loved one, so you’ve got someone to share and enjoy your meal with.

Dan Kenny, co-founder of The Set, said: “Everyone I know has the upmost respect for these industries, the NHS and education system are the backbone of the UK.

“My girlfriend and lots of friends and family work in these sectors.

“They’re incredibly hard working people who do a really stressful job, so we thought it would be a nice idea.

“I’m aware it’s only 25 per cent off a meal but it’s a little thanks from us, who appreciate and respect what they do.”

To take advantage of the deal take your ID into The Set on Wednesdays and receive dinner at a little less of a cost.
