Come along to Watford Museum for the launch of Watford Borough Council’s Big Wordfest celebration on Saturday, March 23, from 11am to 4pm.
There will be free face painting and you will also have the opportunity to complete a number of activities and tasks throughout the day with characters from the Imajica theatre company.
The Big Wordfest fun continues in April with Easter holiday workshops. Families are invited to come along to interactive storytelling sessions at the museum on Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, at 11am. It will cost £1 per child but no booking is necessary.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “Our festival to celebrate all things literary is returning. The Big Wordfest is a great free event for everyone – and we’re sure that you’ll have an enjoyable time.”
