A NEW food hygiene ratings report ranks Ealing in the bottom two of London boroughs and Hillingdon in the bottom half.

The report analyses Food Standards Agency data from 250,000 food businesses across the UK to investigate how regions, towns and cities compare nationally.

High Speed Training’s report comes complete with interactive map and league tables.

Ealing has an average rating of just 3.47 out of 5, while Hillingdon is 4 out of 5.

London had an overall average rating of 4.02 and ranked bottom of the UK regions, based on hygiene scores from 31,925 food establishments.

Walsall, Luton, Birmingham and Bolton had the lowest average scores in the overall UK towns and cities table.

Takeaways were the biggest offenders, with one in nine rated two or lower.
