A Sutton jeweller is hosting a charity jewellery cleaning event next month in aid of The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Warrenders, a family run firm in Cheam Road, is encouraging customers to drop by between 9.30am and 5.30pm on March 8 and 9.

You can have up to three pieces of jewellery professionally cleaned by the in-house goldsmith in exchange for a donation to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Richard Warrender, of Warrenders, said: “The Royal Marsden is a cause very close to our hearts here at Warrenders.

“The hospital pioneer incredible work revolutionising cancer treatment and are responsible for helping to improve the lives of many people affected by cancer.

“We are proud to be doing our bit to help this important cause.”

They will also be taking part in the upcoming Banham Marsden March, which will take place on March 10, to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital.

The sponsored walk is a 15-mile trek between The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust’s two hospitals – in Chelsea, west London, and Sutton.
