A man has been rushed to hospital after he was stabbed in the chest in Croydon High Street during broad daylight this morning.
Police were called at 8.46am today (February 15) to reports of a stabbing alongside the London Ambulance Service.
It was when they arrived that they found a 42-year-old man has suffered a stab wound to the chest.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said he was later taken by paramedics to a south London hospital while “we await an update on his condition”.
There have been no arrests at this early stage while officers in Croydon investigate.
