Some people just can't resist a bargain.
But even a sale isn't good enough for some, as one man proved to police yesterday.
Described as a "persistent shoplifter" by Northcote Police, the unnamed man paid officers a "long overdue" visit yesterday (February 12).
What for you might ask?
Well it turns out he allegedly racked up quite the bill on women's clothing no less.
In fact his outstanding balance is said to have come to £1,000 worth of jumpers allegedly stolen from Pure Collection in Northcote Road, Battersea.
Now he will be facing a new battle, after he was charged by police and remanded to appear in court.
